Core Builds
The Core Builds Configurator generates an AIOStreams configuration based on your providers, device, resolution, audio capabilities, content preferences, and install target.

Open Template Configurator

Open the current Configurator v2.78 release.
What leaves your browser depends on the action you choose. Export JSON creates the configuration locally. Direct Install sends the generated configuration to the selected AIOStreams host. A direct Stremio installation sends the supplied login details to the Stremio API for that operation.
Standalone use: download configurator/index.html and open it locally. Network-dependent actions—including account links, host probing, Direct Install, and external APIs—still require internet access.

Choose a route

Quick Install

The fastest route for most people:
  1. Choose Stremio, WuPlay, Nuvio, or manifest output.
  2. Select one or more providers.
  3. Add optional services or scrapers if needed.
  4. Enter contextual provider credentials.
  5. Optionally expand TMDB metadata and enter either a Read Access Token or API Key.
  6. Choose Fast, Balanced, or Maximum.
  7. Create and install.
Provider fields include direct Get key, Open account, or Open dashboard links. StreamNZB instead explains that you must use your own instance manifest.

Advanced Builder

Use the complete configuration interface for device profiles, filters, expressions, sorting, formatters, subtitles, catalogs, proxy behaviour, language handling, and other advanced controls. Optional services and scrapers remain visible in an inline, multi-select carousel for quick comparison. Fine-Tune opens as a dismissible side drawer on desktop and bottom sheet on phones, preserving the current wizard step and Next button underneath.

Update Existing Setup

Import an existing template or manifest and rebuild it with current schema guards and configurator logic.

Ready-Made Setups

Use 4K Apex or 1080p Stream when you want an opinionated starting point. These are separate from the complete Template Suite in the Template Directory.

Multi-provider and optional sources

Quick Install supports more than one provider. The compact Additional services & scrapers picker holds P2P, HTTP, Debridio, Usenet, StreamNZB, and optional indexers without cluttering the primary flow. Required credential fields appear after you apply the selection.

TMDB metadata

TMDB credentials are optional but recommended. Add either:
  • a TMDB Read Access Token, or
  • a TMDB API Key.
With neither value, Core Builds automatically disables title matching, year matching, the digital-release filter, and metadata-runtime bitrate calculations. Standard bitrate limits remain active, and AIOStreams accepts the configuration without requiring TMDB. This is an optional compatibility mode, not a failed preflight check.

Device profiles

Device selection applies conservative video, HDR, audio, and channel defaults. Unknown devices do not automatically receive AV1, Dolby Vision, or lossless-audio assumptions. See Device Profiles for current model-specific guidance.

Automatic host selection

Automatic selection:
  • remembers the last successful host;
  • prefers stable instances;
  • requires AIOStreams 2.31.1 or newer;
  • skips known legacy or incompatible hosts;
  • respects Free/P2P restrictions;
  • uses nightly infrastructure only as a fallback.
The historic Instance Status page has host-picking guidance; for a live availability check, run your host+config through Tools → Preflight in the configurator.

Validation and compatibility

Before installation, the configurator validates provider requirements, device/audio conflicts, generated preset structure, duplicate names, host compatibility, and known schema enums. The final guard normalizes legacy AIOStreams values and supplies safe defaults when an enum array would otherwise be empty.

Installation choices

Credentials are excluded from sanitized diagnostic reports; diagnostics include only settings and whether a credential is present.
